WKSU is looking for a host OR newscaster for Morning Edition.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in journalism or equivalent years of experience required. Experience in digital audio production is a plus, but we will train talented print journalists. Applicants must demonstrate ability to produce both spot news and long-form feature material that matches NPR style and quality. Successful candidates must have excellent speech, writing, interpersonal, computer and journalism skills.

• Functional understanding of XHTML and CSS including web standards

• JavaScript and DOM

• Basic familiarity with Photoshop, GIMP, or equivalent
• Ability to successfully communicate technology issues
